Error 1494

Problem: This error can occur when adding protection to a .NET program using the Shell Method. It occurs if you are using Visual Studio 2010 (or later) and you have specified that your program requires .NET Framework 4.

Solution: Change your project settings so that your program uses an earlier version of the .NET framework (e.g. .NET 3.5). Alternatively upgrade to version 5.8.1 or later of the DInkey Pro SDK which has fixed this problem.

Versions affected: all versions of DInkeyAdd before and including version 5.8.0.
